Ronnie James is one to watch. Known by close friends as “Ro James”, he began his love affair with music as a young child in the pews of his father’s church. It was there he was surrounded by
music that meant as much to hear as to sing and quickly developed a connection with melodies
that have since refused to go unnoticed.
Ro James hits the stage for the Wednesday Wind Down at Centennial Olympic Park. He is best known for his single Permission, which reached number 8 on the Adult R&B Songs chart.[1] He is signed to ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records and has released El Dorado, his first album under a major label, in 2016.
Tall Boy had a chance to talk to James about him being a preachers kid and his bad boy persona.
