Oprah Takes Time To Define Hustle & Network

Oprah defines Hustle & Network

CEO & media mogul Oprah Winfery, met for a private reception of OWN’s new television show Queen Sugar.  Winfery invited her close friends and colleagues to The Legacy Kitchen in New Orleans.  While on the red carpet Tall Boy spoke exclusively to Oprah.  He asked for her personal definition of Hustle & Network.

The main purpose of the Hustle & Network Tour is to motivate and challenge our youth to use the resources around them by meeting new people and using their skills and talents to create an environment of confidence.  Students are encouraged to evaluate their talents and to develop a strategy that is conducive to entrepreneurship.  This is accomplished through student interaction and the use of videos showing both athletes and celebrities sharing their definitions of what legal Hustling and Networking skills are all about.

The Hustle & Network Tour is the brainchild of Corey “Tall Boy” Sanders, a videographer, emcee, and media personality that has interviewed the likes of former president, Bill Clinton, comedian and author, Steve Harvey, comedian Kevin Hart, media moguls Sean “Diddy” Combs, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Russell Simmons, and sports analyst, Dick Vitale. The tour is interactive, and incorporates teaching young people the importance of “Hustling and Networking the legal way.”

It is the communications component that fuels the Hustle and Network Tour, by teaching students how to develop their skills and spread the word by networking.  Many programs in the public schools sector deal with the training aspect of preparing our youth to infiltrate today’s highly competitive job market. Our goal through the Hustle and Network Tour is to motivate youth from around the country and challenge them to be more productive and creative. The program encourages students to find out what their strengths are and what they love to do most. They discover their natural talents and are taught to promote and to “brand” themselves as entrepreneurs.

Media mogul Oprah made her very first appearance at the Essence Festival.  Lady O made her Essence debut at the Empowerment Experience stage before the reception.
