Network Of Starrs Are “Making It Happen” With The Police & The Campers Of PAL

City of Atlanta Police Athletic League (PAL) team up with the Network of Starrs to promote entrepreneurship & networking

The Network of Starrs Foundation Incorporated 501(c)3 has teamed up with the City of Atlanta Police Athletic League (PAL) 501(c)3 and we are teaching entrepreneurship & networking. Entrepreneurs came to speak to the PAL summer camp about their respective fields. They then broke off into individual sessions where kids got a hands on experience of that career.

Culinary chef Tiffany Jones of No Excuses Fitness & Cuisine took campers who were interested in culinary into the kitchen & showed them how to properly prepare a healthy meal.  Dj Fadlef & Dj Genius showed campers interested in becoming a deejay how to properly use the turntables.  12 Studios owner Dino Marto had campers interested in becoming music artist write a positive two minute song about how “School is Cool”.  Make-up artist Desires Vamai  showed kids eager to learn about make up, apply it properly.  Owner of Coture Models Shenae Floyd had kids intrigued about modeling walk the run way at the camp.  Photographers Joe Walker and Saga Boss were on the scene to capture these precious moments.

Rap artists Bone Crusher, Miss Mulatto and R&B star Case passed by the camp to give a hands on approach of how to create a song and showed the kids how to capture the audience with stage presence.

Now that the campers of PAL have been exposed to the multiple careers they must activate & execute there own production from start to finish on July 19, 2016.  They will “Make It Happen

The Atlanta Police Athletic League is a non-profit public benefit corporation. Its mission is to provide a safe environment for youth to reach their full potential, through partnerships with police and community; utilizing athletics and other programs which are geared to improving the quality of life of its participants. By promoting confidence, self-esteem, civic engagement, academic achievement, and social principles, this program will aide them in becoming productive members of society.  

We believe with commitment, responsibility, and support, The Network of Starrs Foundation Inc. can instill a sense of hope and empower youth to pursue their dreams.
