The Dream (15-14) led 42-35 at halftime. The second half they continued to be scrappy fighting for loose balls as well as attacking Griner and the paint. It was energy that lifted them over the Mercury. The Dream seemed to have have put the game away when they were up 78-69 but the Mercury cut the lead to one point with 38 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Hayes drove to the basket and got a 3 point play which sealed the deal.
