80’s Band Rose Royce Breaks Down The Music Business & Share What Living Artist They Want To Collaborate With

Kenny Copeland and Michael Nash original members of the 1980’s band Rose Royce and female vocalist Makeda Francisco shared a moment with Tall Boy at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, August 20, 2016 for the “Wolf Creek Funk Series“.  The concert lineup consisted of Morris Day and The Time, Midnight Star, & Brick.

This Los Angeles based group are best known for several hit singles during the 1970’s including “Car Wash,” “I Wanna Get Next to You,” “I’m Going Down“, “Wishing on a Star“, and “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore

The group shared how they formed, their first experience on stage, how they connected with Francisco, who they would like to work with and explained how to be successful in the music business.
