R&B Singer Cherrelle Says “Saturday Love” Is Gospel

80’s R&B star Cherrelle made a stop in Atlanta to perform for concert goers at Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, September 17, 2016 for the “Wolf Creek Concert Series“.  The concert lineup also consisted of KlymaxxFM, SOS Band, and Cameo.

The bi-coastal native of Detroit & Los Angeles began her career working with jazz/R&B artists Norman Connors and Michael Henderson, as well as touring with Luther Vandross.  She is known for her hits like “I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On“, “Where Do I Run To“, “Everything I Miss at Home“, and duets with R&B singer Alexander O’Neal such as her classic song “Saturday Love” and “Never Knew Love Like This.

Cherrelle spoke exclusively to Tall Boy about how she got started, her real thoughts on “Saturday Love“,  her feelings about Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, what living artist she wants to work with, how she wants to be remembered and a whole lot more.
