People think that reality TV personalities lives are not real and most times not about anything in the real world. However, Karlie Redd of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” fame has a lot going on which goes to dispel (at least) she is not the average reality star. Part of that game plan is the opening of her third clothing store named “Merci.”
The store located in Northpoint Mall is the second in Atlanta, with her first venture also named “Merci,” located in The Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia. Karlie also has a west coast store called “Mansiion” in the Los Angeles Westfield Culver City Mall. She says that the stores have something for everyone; from soccer-moms to young women. That’s especially true of the Northpoint location because she purposely made the price point on her clothing and jewelry accessible and affordable.
Consistently stylish, fashionable and on point, Karlie has a passion and the knack for business. The New York, NY-born, Trinidad-raised actress/hip-hop artist got an early start on juggling a career. An alumni of The Harlem School of the Arts and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater when Karlie returned back to the states, she got her big break in the movie “Black Spring Break 2,” and nevere stopped or looked back. Yet during her short time in show business, Karlie managed to carve out her own niche in 2012 by launching the Redd Remy Hairline by Karlie Redd and her debut album “A Girl Has Needs” that same year.
Say what you want about Karlie Redd but she ahs proven too-legit-t0-quit.
