“Precious,” “A Love Supreme,” “This Moment Is Mine,” “Moore Is More,” “Things That Lovers Do,” are just some of Chante Moore’s music contributions. In television “R&B Divas,” and stage appearing in “Married But Single Too” She’s been nominated several times and won an NAACP Image Award, Grammys, MCP Music Awards, and Soul Train Awards. In addition, Chante is also an accomplished author while finding time to raise 2-children from previous marriages. Yet, there’s more to Chante than meets the eye, and her recent album-signing appearance at DBS Records in Atlanta allowed her warmth and compassion to embrace her fans. This marks the 7th album in her diverse career.
“The Rise of the Phoenix” album according to the artist means taking everything that has happened to her; using it as fuel and to be reborn, refreshed in who she is as a woman, an entertainer, as a person. Accordingly, this is an album she wants her fans to feel because she put her heart into this collection of 17-songs. Although she loves the creative side and not so much the business side, through the years Chante has proven to be more than just a survivor and more of an innovator.
“It means something when people say they love this song, or they love the music because that’s why I do it.”
It’s been her proven track record to contribute her talents to every area of creativity that will have her, so the first 25-years seems to be only the start. There’s a new generation that has yet to discover Chante Moore, but she is determined to allow the new fans to find her.
