Atlanta Influencers ‘Spreading Ambition’ for the Children’s Shelter of Atlanta at Cheesed Cake

It was truly a time for cause and celebration at Cheesed Caked of Buckhead when a number of Atlanta influencers got together to show support for the “Spreading Ambition” initiative. The event has been the advocacy vehicle for the Children’s Shelter of Atlanta. The night was filled with like-minded, purposeful people from various walks of life who believe in the work done by the organization.

The Buckhead location of Cheese Caked is the latest version of the cheese cake and dessert eatery that originated in Conyers, GA. It appeared to be the ideal place to support children by feeding your inner-child’s sweet tooth.

The Children’s Shelter of Atlanta since 1986 has been providing shelter for homeless children 5-years or younger. It also provides free, quality day care, emotional support, an educational curriculum for homeless children, and focused social services for their families. Their work for this challenge has cared for almost 8,000 children and provided services for more than 5,000 families. So that’s why it’s important to contribute anything you can; not only money but time, food, words of kindness. Everything is accepted and utilized.

Gracing the room this particular evening was author Monyetta Shaw  @MONYETTASHAW, R&B group 112 musician RL  @JUSTRL and his wife Lena Huggs  @LENAHUGGS of RHOA, Carmen Simmons  @ACSATL  (Director Relations Coordinator) of the Children’s Shelter of Atlanta and Cheesed Cake owner Shawn Brown  @CHEESECAKED.

Be assured when you hear about or become involved with the “Spreading Ambition” initiative, they are going to be about good things in the community when it comes to assisting those in need.
